Oral Console has four identities: Learner / Publisher / Manager / Developer. You enter as Manager. Console Manager is not the App organization admin.

| Oral (external one-liner) | Website wording: embed speaking practice, tasks, History, and exams in your existing school site, learning system, or app. Not the full teaching product, and not another name for private deployment. Principals read the website; integrators follow this Help. |
| Oral Console | Oral embed console, not the product name. After a website trial signup (includes expected learner scale), sign in here — this page does not register. You enter as Manager; during trial switch Learner / Publisher / Developer in the header. See How to use Oral Console |
| Embed | Hosted practice, task, History, and exam UI mounted with OralEmbed.mount |
| Page widget | Formal embed path: page snippet + publishable key; learners must identify with a learner code (or OTP/PIN) before speaking / exams / History. Same price as mint. See Two formal embed methods |
| Sign-in mint | Formal embed path: after your login succeeds, the backend mints a short-lived embed token; can bind student numbers, read scores, write back to LMS. Same price as widget. See Two formal embed methods |
| Publishable key | Page widget only (e.g. pk_test_); allow Origin + learner identity before speaking; cannot act as the tenant key for admin |
| Learner code | Long-lived identity issued from the Console roster on the widget path; shared across practice / tasks / exams / History |
| Organization key | Customer backend only (e.g. olk_test_); used to mint tokens and for admin operations; never in the browser |
| Embed token | Short-lived credential the frontend uses for mount; minted by your backend (or issued by the platform after widget identity) |
| Theme token | Accent, radius, density, badge, etc. set in mount or Console preview; does not replace learner identity |
| Report surface | One of four surfaces (report); learner practice / exam results (≠ teaching “class reports”). See Scores and records |
| External user id | Your system student number / user id passed on sign-in mint; scores and History align on this id |
| Speak Lite / Class / Assess / Exam | Four Oral plans; they grant rights and do not hide the four surfaces. See Plans, entitlements, and usage |
| Learner (Oral Console) | Speaks, completes tasks, views History, takes exams |
| Publisher (Oral Console) | Publishes tasks and exams and views History; not the App teacher |
