Assign speaking exam
Teachers assign a formal speaking exam on the Tasks page (or Me → More).

Goal: Publish a formal speaking exam for a class so students take it under Speaking → Speaking exam.

The organization must have opened speaking-exam capability and policy; otherwise the entry may be missing or create may fail.
Steps (summary)
- Open Tasks, tap Assign speaking exam (or secondary Me → More → Speaking exam), pick a class.
- Follow the wizard / form for exam title, due time, paper / item types, time limit, pass line, etc. (fields follow the UI).
- Confirm and publish.
- In the task / exam list, confirm status is Published.
Student side: open Speaking → Speaking exam, and in Exam to-do you must select the exam first (without a deep link nothing auto-selects; workbench stays collapsed until selected). See Speaking tabs overview.
If the org enables Voice identity, students enroll / verify before the exam starts; teachers can see similarity % · pass/fail in report details (whether it sounds like the same person). See Voice identity.
How to confirm success
- Teacher list shows the exam task.
- Students refresh Speaking → Speaking exam / To-do and see the same exam title.
