Audience: Student · Applies to: SaaS / private
Goal: Understand Pending, open a task from Home or Speaking → To-do, and finish it.
What “Pending” means
Pending = a teacher assignment published to you that you have not finished yet.
It is a progress status, not a separate menu named “Pending tasks”.
How it relates to To-do:
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Speaking → To-do | Task hub (main entry) |
| Pending | Items in that list that are not finished yet |
Where to look
| Entry | What you see |
|---|---|
| Home | “N pending”, continue shortcuts |
| Speaking → To-do | All to-dos; prioritize due soon or overdue |
| Speaking sub-pages | Short lists on Tasks / Multi-party / Exams |
| Courses → task list | Textbook tasks (complements To-do) |
How to finish
- Open Speaking → To-do (or jump from Home).
- Select a pending task to open the practice surface.
- Practice as prompted and end the session.
- Return to To-do: the item drops off or becomes completed.
Then check Records for progress and history.
