Structure

Rule: If a practice type is not in the effective allowlist, the App does not show its entry point. This prevents students from selecting an option that will fail later.
From the student's perspective, L2 tasks appear under Speaking → To-do and open the matching surface: Speaking tasks, Multi-party dialogue, or Speaking exam. L0 and L1 determine which practice types may be enabled; they are not individual tabs. See Practice types · pipelines · scenarios.
Comparison

| Self-directed practice | — | Allows or disables it | — | Uses it when no task is assigned |
Merge rules
- Not available on the platform → unavailable to every organization.
- Not enabled by the organization → unavailable to teachers and students.
- A task is present → the task settings apply. Student preferences cannot loosen its rules.
- No task is present → organization permission for self-directed practice and student preferences apply.
